Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) extract - 1 mL per 5 mL dose:
Licorice root acts as a demulcent, soothing irritated mucous membranes in the respiratory tract. It is also used as an antitussive to reduce coughing and as an antispasmodic to ease mild bronchial spasms.

Asclepias tuberosa (Pleurisy Root) extract - 1 mL per 5 mL dose:
Pleurisy Root is traditionally used as an expectorant to help clear excess mucus from the respiratory tract. It also acts as a diaphoretic, promoting sweating to aid in the management of cold symptoms.

Echinacea angustifolia (Echinacea) extract - 1 mL per 5 mL dose:
Echinacea root supports the immune system and is used to decrease symptoms of the common cold, including sneezing, cough, runny nose, and general malaise.

Thymus vulgaris (Thyme) extract - 1 mL per 5 mL dose:
Thyme leaf serves as an expectorant, helping to break down and expel mucus from the respiratory tract. It supports easier breathing and relief from respiratory discomfort.

Marrubium vulgare (White Horehound) extract - 500 microlitre per 5 mL dose:
White Horehound is used as an expectorant in traditional Western herbal medicine, aiding in the clearance of mucus from the lungs and alleviating coughs associated with respiratory conditions.

Zingiber officinale (Ginger) extract - 500 microlitre per 5 mL dose:
Ginger root acts as a diaphoretic, supporting the body’s natural response to colds by promoting sweating. It also soothes the respiratory tract during mild bronchial infections.
Dosage and Administration
Adults: Take 5 mL with water or juice, three times daily.
Warnings, Cautions, and Contraindications
Important safety information:
- Contains ethanol 48% v/v.
- Caution in pregnancy.
- Contraindicated in hypertension, oedema, and in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics.
- Use cautiously in patients receiving prednisolone or midazolam by injection.
- Caution in patients taking warfarin, albendazole, or antihypertensive medications.
- Avoid long-term use in patients taking digoxin or potassium-depleting drugs.
- Caution in patients on cilostazol due to the risk of hypokalaemia; a high-potassium diet is recommended.
- Ginger should be used cautiously in patients taking antacids or crizotinib.
- Risk of allergic reaction to Echinacea is minimal, especially with root preparations.
- Contraindicated for patients on immunosuppressants — short-term therapy only suggested.
- Thyme may provide a small amount of vitamin K, affecting certain medications.
- Children under two years old should not be treated without medical advice.
- Discontinue use 7 days prior to general anesthesia.
- If symptoms persist, seek professional advice.
