Dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet 2-3 times daily.

Silybum marianum (St Mary's Thistle) extract 240 mg
Derived from min. seed dry 16.8 g
Standardised to contain flavonolignans calculated as silybin 168 mg

Excipients

Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Starch Glycollate.

Warning
  • Do not take it simultaneously with meals or iron supplements in anaemia and cases where iron supplementation is required.
  • Not to be taken at the same time with immunosuppressive drugs; caution is advised in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressive drugs.
  • Caution in patients taking domperidone, metronidazole, ornidazole, insulin or oral hypoglycaemic drugs, talinolol, and nifedipine.
  • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
  • If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
