What is PureDefense with NAC designed to support?

What is NAC?

N-acetyl-L-cysteine, or NAC, is a cysteine-containing compound used to support the body’s production of glutathione and healthy respiratory defence mechanisms.

How does NAC support antioxidant protection?

NAC supplies cysteine, an amino-acid precursor the body can use to produce glutathione. Glutathione is an important antioxidant involved in protecting cells from oxidative stress.

What is EpiCor®?

EpiCor® is a dried Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast fermentate containing bioactive metabolites. It is included to support innate and adaptive immune responses and upper respiratory health.

What other immune-supportive ingredients does it contain?

The formula includes vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc, European elderberry and quercetin. These nutrients and flavonoids complement the NAC and EpiCor®.

Can this product treat a cold or respiratory infection?

No. It provides nutritional support for normal immune and upper respiratory function but does not diagnose, prevent or treat infections. Persistent fever, breathing difficulty, chest pain or worsening symptoms require medical assessment.

How should I take PureDefense with NAC?

Adults should take two capsules twice daily with meals, providing a total of four capsules per day.

How long does each pack last?

The 120-capsule bottle provides 30 days at four capsules daily. The 20-capsule travel pack provides five days and is intended for travel or short-term use.

Is PureDefense with NAC vegetarian or vegan?

No. Although the capsule shell is vegetarian, the manufacturer states that its NAC is derived from duck feathers and its vitamin D3 from lanolin. The finished product should not be described as vegetarian or vegan.

Who should seek advice before taking it?
