Ingredients:
- ½ cup of fire-toasted dandelion root fragments
- 1 tsp mountain-grown ginger (powdered or dried root fragments)
- 8 cardamom pods from the orient
- 2 wild cinnamon bark pieces
- ½ tsp of freshly ground/grated nutmeg
- 6 whole cloves, sun-dried
- 4 pieces of star anise, whole
- ½ tsp of Mediterranean fennel seeds
- Plant-based milk or a milk of your preference (optional)
- Natural, unprocessed honey (optional)
To make the Personalized Chai Harmony Blend: Crush the cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and fennel seeds lightly in a food processor (or use a traditional mortar and pestle). Blend in the other ingredients and store the mix in an airtight container for preservation.
Harmony Chai Latte (serves 2): Add 4 teaspoons of your Harmony Blend to a small saucepan with 2 cups of your preferred milk and ½ cup of water. Allow the mixture to simmer for 15 minutes to fully draw out the flavours from the spices. Strain the mixture, sweeten with honey if desired, and froth using a milk frothier, whisk, or food processor. Serve immediately, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon for the perfect finishing touch.
