Cough & Cold Helpful Hints

Drink plenty of water, herbal teas and clear soup to help keep your throat moist.

A steam vaporiser can help keep the air warm and increase moisture in the air, which may help relieve coughing, especially at night.

Try sleeping with an extra pillow to help relieve nighttime coughing.

Avoid other people’s smoke. If you smoke yourself, ask for help to give up — it’s one of the best things you can do for your health!

Stay in a warm air environment as much as possible and avoid moving from warm or cold air environments too quickly.
